Whatsapp is down -- again -- and people are taking to Twitter and Facebook to express frustration, anger, disappointment, despair.
The messaging app, owned by Facebook, is used by some 1.2 billion people around the world.

According to Down Detector, the outage started around 7am BST on November 3 and is still ongoing in large parts of Europe and South East Asia.
