New York City will require proof of vaccination for indoor dining, gyms, and indoor entertainment. The policy will be enforced starting Sept. 13 for anyone old enough to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

President Biden said that he believes other cities should follow suit. If yours does (the chances of which vary by city), you'd either need to show a mobile vaccine pass or carry around your paper vaccination card in order to eat inside a restaurant or work out at your gym.

The CDC inconveniently made vaccination cards just slightly too big for most standard wallets, which makes them a pain in the ass to carry around with you. Of course, this is a minuscule problem compared to the last year and a half or so, but still. Can't we just have something easy?

Luckily, people have been quick to fill our unique pandemic product needs. Cloth face masks became huge on Etsy early on in the pandemic, and now vaccine card holders are A Thing.

Vaccination card holders look like the ID badge part of your wallet, but they're specifically sized to actually house your vax card without bending the edges. Just slip it in your bag or pocket so you can keep proof of your vaccination status on hand.

There are clear badge holders that you can get for cheap on Amazon, but if you want something a little more stylish, check out these fun vaccine card holders. (A sentence I would never have imagined writing two years ago.)

Like there are silicone sandwich bags, there are also silicone vaccine card protectors. This pack of four includes clear, pink, blue, and green card sleeves that are durable and water resistant.

A fashionable choice — $11.99

Break out the croc (faux) leather with this dual slot vaccine card holder. You can fit two vax cards in it and you have eight colors to choose from. Plus, this is a two-pack, so really you could fit four cards if you've become the designated vaccine card keeper.

A rustic leather number — $14.39

These cool, muted leather vaccine holders are available in five colors and offer personalization if you want the sleeve to have a design on it. Honestly though, these things look stylish as hell on their own without any customization. The metal clasp allows you to hook your card onto your bag so you know exactly where it is without having to dig around.

The ultimate international travel companion — $17.59

If you're regularly up to no good, it might be time to solemnly swear something else: that you're vaccinated. This vaccine card holder is on the larger side because of the extra decor around the clear sleeve, but look how cute it is.

Bring the velvet trend to the vaccine. These cute holders come in six colors and have the option to customize with a word or initials. The sleeve folds open and shut for an extra layer of protection between your card and outside elements.

Add some shimmer — $7

Get a little groovy with a holographic option. This one is pretty basic in design — it's a vinyl backing with a clear slot for your card. The closure doesn't seal, so some crumbs or dirt from your purse might find their way in.
