Whoopi Goldberg understands the endless suffering of being a woman, and she's here to help.

Goldberg's latest sister act is a line of marijuana-infused products, under the brand name Whoopi & Maya, to reduce menstrual pain and cramps with "canna-businesswoman" Maya Elisabeth.

“I want to go nice and slow with this. I don’t want this to be a joke to people," Goldberg told USA Today. "It’s not a joke to women.”

The line will include a balm, a tincture, sipping chocolate and a bath soak. For now, it will only be available in medical marijuana dispensaries in California.

Goldberg's fondness for weed is well-documented. For further proof, enjoy her introduction to a column for The Cannabist: "My vape pen and I, a love story." Her vape is named Sippy, by the way. They're very happy together.

When Goldberg was first exploring the idea, she was told that the product did not have a broad enough appeal.

“When I asked whether there was medicinal cannabis out there to give relief to women with cramps, I was told that would be a ‘niche’ product,” Goldberg told The Daily Beast. “We’re here for that niche, which is made up of half the population.”

But did Whoopi listen? Of course not.
