Actors and actresses aren't the only people that deserve to get all dressed up, be honored by their peers and win fancy awards. Regular humans do amazing things everyday that aren't starring in a sad movie about the sea.

That's why Regine Brown's mom held her own version of the Oscars and presented her husband with the award for "Best Husband."

A behind-the-scenes look at the star getting getting glammed up for the party. Who are you wearing?

"She said she always wanted to award him for being the best husband in the world and she thought this was the perfect opportunity, giving [sic] that it was Oscar night," Brown said of her mom's idea. "My parents have always been the romantic type."

Brown's dad, although surprised by his wife's effort, loved winning the Oscar. "He laughed at first and was shocked that she really went all out and was just happy with the thought of the award," she said. "He's used to my mom being so dramatic and fun with their relationship."

People loved the lengths Brown's mom went to to honor her husband and equally loved his laid back, yet chic ensemble:

We think it's safe to say that this guy had the win in the bag. But did someone check the envelope just in case?
