Wilmer Valderrama is joining the team at NCIS.
CBS has announced that the Minority Report alum, who recently finished a run on ABC's Grey's Anatomy, will be joining broadcast TV's most-watched drama as a series regular.
According to the network, Valderrama will be playing an NCIS agent -- described as "an unpredictable, charismatic loose cannon" -- who returns many years after taking an undercover assignment that's so deep some people presume he is dead.

“Wilmer Valderrama will be able to flex his dramatic, physical and comedic talents in this classic NCIS role,” said executive producer Gary Glasberg. “Fans are going to see him like they’ve never seen him before. This is going to be fun. We’re thrilled he’s coming aboard.”
Valderrama's addition comes about a month after the show wrapped up its 13th season and bid farewell to longtime cast member Michael Weatherly.
Weatherly, who was with the show since the beginning, will star in a new drama on CBS this fall based on the life of Dr. Phil Mcgraw called Bull.
