Someone Photoshopped the male artists out of a festival poster and the result is telling

It's a bleak state of affairs when you look at the lineup for a festival and you can't see any female artists on the line-up.

Lily Allen tweeted an edited version of Wireless festival's poster with the male artists photoshopped out. The finished result showed that the three-day festival had booked just three female artists—Mabel, Cardi B, and Lisa Mercedez.

The image was created by journalist Luke Bailey, who tweeted that "Wireless festival without the men is... not great."

Allen then suggested some female artists that would make excellent additions to the lineup.

Ellie Goulding's reply to Bailey's original tweet sums up what most of us are thinking.

And, others made more suggestions about female artists that should have been booked for the festival.

Mashable reached out to Wireless festival but did not receive an immediate response.
