You can now play an NES with modern, wireless controllers
For the last decade, we've taken for granted the fact that game controllers no longer need to be tethered to your console.

Third-party controller maker 8Bitdo and Analogue, makers of the Analogue NT NES, partnered to make the Retro Receiver: a dongle that plugs into any Nintendo Entertainment System controller port to work with Bluetooth controllers. So you can use wireless knockoff NES controllers (also made by 8Bitdo), or connect a PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, a Wii Remote or Wii U Pro Controller.
The dongle works on any classic Nintendo Entertainment System, as well as Analogue's own NES clone and any other clone with the same controller port. It can also be used as a Bluetooth controller dongle for Mac and Windows.
The Retro Receiver is available for $19.99.
