You may have seen a lot of things in your life, but we're willing to bet you've never seen a woman attempting to resuscitate a pigeon.

There's a first time for everything, though:

That video was shared on Twitter on Tuesday by 19-year-old Glasgow School of Art student Charlotte. It's since been retweeted over 10,000 times.

There's not really much else to say about the clip, is there? The main thing it left us with was questions.

Who is the mystery pigeon whisperer? Did she see the bird collapse and rush to its assistance? Does she try to resuscitate all unconscious animals she comes across? Is it possible that the whole video is some kind of impressively realistic prank?

Maybe we'll never know. According to the student, though, the story didn't have a happy ending.

Nature is a cruel, cruel place.
