Woman gets glorious TV revenge on man who dumped her via text

And that's how it's done.

If you've never seen the British dating show First Dates, you haven't truly lived. The show matches up participants based on compatibility and then hosts dates simultaneously in one restaurant.

On the show's most recent episode, a woman named Emma was shocked to discover that she had been paired up with none other than her ex, Peter, who pulled the ultimate dick move and dumped her via text message.

The show producers might not have gotten the memo (or maybe they did and knew it would make for excellent television).

The awkward match up gave Emma the chance to get the apology she deserved.

Here's how the award confrontation went down.

Emma calls Peter out for the shady way he broke up with her.

Twitter gave Emma a standing ovation for the glorious exchange that gave vicarious satisfaction to all the text-dumped people of the world.

Touché, Emma.
