This train-themed marriage proposal will probably make your heart burst

Aww.

There's something uniquely sentimental and nostalgic about revisiting the place you first met your partner so planning a proposal there seems like the next logical step - even if that place was a train station.

Commuters shared a bit of their fellow commuter's excitement while passing through Glasgow Central train station on Saturday evening when a man named Craig arranged a very special message to be displayed on the Special Notices board for his girlfriend Linsay.

Obviously it left commuters in a state of suspense.

ScotRail responded to commuters who were anxious to know her response.

And luckily one commuter could report on the celebrations.

Arek Grabka, who was traveling through the station, saw the couple celebrating the proposal. He tweeted:

Everything about this train station themed love affair is wonderful. Would a train station marriage ceremony be out of the question?
