That signature guitar riff might be Wonder Woman's real secret weapon.

"Who is this young woman?"

That's the question posed by a character at the start of the latest Wonder Woman TV spot, and he might as well be speaking for curious movie audiences everywhere.

The rest of the video proceeds to answer that question, showing the Amazonian warrior in action – bursting in through windows, deflecting bullets, lassoing bad guys.

But that's not exactly an answer that'll fly in the world of men (i.e., our real world), so instead, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) comes up with an answer on the fly.

Meanwhile, a second TV spot takes a more somber tone, as Diana reflects on the origins of the Amazons and prepares for an epic battle on behalf of "those who cannot fight for themselves."

Worth noting, too, is that the video features what seems to be our first-ever look at the villainous Ares. It's quick and blurry – gotta save some of those secrets for the theatrical release, after all – but if you're curious, skip to the 0:11 mark above and try squinting really hard.

Wonder Woman is in theaters June 2.
