Thanks to social media, any customer can publicly air their grievances, turning Facebook pages into full-blown damage control centers. Naturally, ill-intentioned people will attempt to use this public forum to get some free stuff.

Last week, a customer posted a photo to Woolworths' Facebook page. The woman, whose name we decided to censor, claimed that the avocados she purchased at a store in Australia were rotten.

I purchased these avocados from your store at double bay yesterday, upon making a sandwich today i came to find these avocados are rotten! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, I demand my money back!!!! and at your double bay store aswell! i expected more from you woolies. On top of that one of your employees gave me the biggest dirty look as i was self servicing, making a comment about my crocs, since when is it a crime to wear crocs??? this is Australia god dammit. From now on im shopping at aldi!!!!!

Unfortunately, this particular image, which the customer lifted off the Internet, was from another customer in 2014. One who actually gained quite a bit of attention.

So the grocery store called the customer out, much to the enjoyment of other people on the page.

Here's the original interaction, which occurred in 2014, in case you're curious.
