Wordle is going IRL.

The wildly popular daily word puzzle that launched a thousand clones (and flooded your Twitter feed with square emoji) is being turned into a physical board game, according to a New York Times press release Thursday.

Billed as a "brand-new product that delivers classic Wordle gameplay, but now in an all new way," Wordle: The Party Game is the result of a new partnership between Hasbro and the Times, which purchased Wordle from its creator in January. (Can't wait? These word-based board games will keep you entertained.)

"Since Wordle burst onto the scene, it's undoubtedly been a staple in social and pop culture vocabulary," Adam Biehl, Hasbro Gaming SVP & General Manager, said in a statement. "We’re beyond thrilled to work with New York Times Games to bring our gaming worlds together and extend Wordle in new ways."

Unlike the original Wordle, a single-player puzzle that lives on the New York Times' website, Wordle: The Party Game is designed for two to four people ages 14 and up. Players will take turns as the Wordle Host, who writes down a five-letter Secret Word on a dry-erase Wordle board that everyone else tries to guess in six or less attempts. Guessers receive points based on how many tries they needed to get it right, and the person with the fewest points at the end of the game wins. For a twist on standard gameplay, players can also compete in Fast, Timed, and Team modes.

The board game will be available for purchase in North America this October, but diehard Wordle fans (Wordlers? Wordle Army? Warbz?) can preorder it on Amazon for $19.99 starting today.
