The Cubs just won their first World Series since 1908.

With an 8-7, extra-inning victory against the Cleveland Indians -- in a winner-take-all Game 7 on Wednesday night -- the Cubs quenched the longest championship drought in North American sports.

The game itself was a roller coaster of emotions, so it's not surprising that everyone was crying as the dust settled.

Then there was 38-year-old David Ross, whose impending retirement made Game 7 the last game of his career. That alone would make Wednesday night significant for the backup catcher.

But Ross' critical home run in the sixth inning brought the emotions to another level.

Looks like there is crying in baseball.
