Baseball fans and fast-food lovers alike can celebrate for one tasty reason: Free tacos.

In keeping with its long-running World Series tradition, Taco Bell will give away free Doritos Locos Tacos if a base is stolen by either team during a game. Thanks to Boston Red Sox player Mookie Betts -- who stole a base during Tuesday's game versus the Los Angeles Dodgers -- the entire U.S. now has access to free tacos.

As SB Nation noted, Betts himself was pretty stoked about the entire situation. During an interview with FOX Sports, he made it clear that he was motivated to secure those free tacos.

"We said be aggressive early, trying to get a run across, and on top of that I just wanted some tacos," he said.

According to the promotion details, participating Taco Bells in the U.S. give away free tacos on the afternoon of Thursday, November 1. You can also grab a voucher online that let's you snag your taco earlier or later that day. It's also a while-supplies-last situation, so if you want one, you'd better get to your local Taco Bell as early as possible.

Baseball season isn't the only time the fast-food chain gives away free tacos. They ran a similar promotion back in June during the NBA Finals.
