This phone is so tough you can't saw or drill through it

It might as well be indestructible.

Xiaomi's recently launched Mi 5 is an incredible smartphone for about $300. No other phone in this price range even comes close to the polish of the Mi 5's hardware.

When we reviewed the phone, we tested out the version with a glass back. But the company's also releasing a "Pro" version with a ceramic back that's way more durable. YouTube user Allen Wang took a saw and drill to the Mi 5 Pro's backside, and the phone buffed them off like it was NBD.

As you can see in Wang's scratch test video (above), the phone's virtually scratch-proof. It passed both the saw and drill test with flying colors leaving behind no scratches.

Well played, Xiaomi. Well played. The Mi 5 Pro's indestructible ceramic back is yet another reason why we love it (and desperately wish it was available outside of China.)
