As the self-proclaimed "greatest artist of our generation" -- it only seems right that Kanye West be associated with one of the most famous musical artists in history: Beethoven.

Reddit user SpooneyLove posted that Los Angeles’ Debut Orchestra of the Young Musicians Foundation has created an unlikely music series mashup entitled, The Great Music Series.

Their first installment? Yeethoven.

Yeethoven will combine Kanye’s Yeezus and some of Beethoven's most famous works, such as “Egmont Overture” and “String Quartet No. 14 (op. 131).”

While you may be a bit massively skeptical as to how the classical, romantic stylings of Beethoven will sound meshed with the fresh beats that 'Ye dishes out -- fear not.

Conductor and co-curator Yuga Cohler and arranger and co-curator, Stephen Feigenbaum, have worked to create musical genius.

As the Young Musicians Foundation's website states, "If you find this concert far-fetched, we invite you to come and listen – see if you can tell where Beethoven ends and Kanye begins."

The preview video above shows the YMF Debut Orchestra performing a mashup of Beethoven's "Fifth Symphony" and "Blood on the Leaves," from Kanye's album Yeezus -- and it sounds amazing.

The Debut Orchestra will perform Yeethoven on Saturday, April 16 at the Aratani Theatre in Los Angeles.
