The 'you can only keep 3' meme is here to challenge you in this difficult time

When life gets tough, Twitter often turns to lighthearted memes for some comic relief. But in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the internet's meme of choice happens to be a pretty stressful one.

Over the past few weeks the "You can only keep 3" meme has been flooding Twitter timelines. The formatting is simple: Present a variety of movies, television shows, musicians, video games, snacks, or other interests, and then tell followers they're only allowed to keep three of the options. It's the selection and elimination process that presents the challenge.

Twitter user @AwestruckVox, for example, pit animated shows like Jimmy Neutron, Kim Possible, and Danny Phantom against each other, and the debate got heated.

If you're in the mood to make some tough pop culture decisions, here are some lists you can "keep three" from. Whether you're a fan of sports, horror movies, fast food, or more, there's a choice to be made for everyone.
