If you hate notches on phones then you'll really hate this one
Tired of notches on phones? You will not like this phone, then.
A new ZTE concept phone called the Iceberg has a notch on both top and bottom, which, when you think about it, isn't that much worse than having a notch only on top.
The concept that showed up on IF World Design Guide (via Android Authority) envisions a thin-edged phone encased in a "unibody" glass case, which is presumably why the bottom speaker is front-facing and placed in the bottom notch instead of being on the bottom edge of the phone.
The details are scarce: All we know is that it has wireless charging and a fingerprint sensor on the back, but we don't really expect a full spec sheet from a concept phone. The glass case's corners, which actually extrude over the phone's round edges, are definitely a fresh look, if a little odd.
Obviously, there's no word on when this phone might hit the market (could be never). But we shudder to think what's next. A three-notched phone? A phone with a notch quartet? Hopefully, no one will ever go that far.
