AJ Marechal

AJ Marechal is a writer and entertainment journalist based in Los Angeles. She has held editorial positions at Allure, Harper's Bazaar and Playboy, and most recently served as Variety's TV reporter. At Variety, AJ covered all aspects of the television industry, and handled breaking news, long-form business analysis and feature-length profiles on key industry figures.During her tenure as a trade journalist, AJ co-hosted NPR podcast "The Spin-off," made appearances on news programs including "Good Morning America" and "E! News," and moderated industry panels. She currently works as a TV writer and serves as the editorial director at Poshly, a digital beauty company.A third-generation Angeleno and avid dancer, AJ earned a degree in Philosophy and Creative Nonfiction at NYU.
