Alissa Skelton is a news intern for Mashable and a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications. Before joining Mashable, Skelton was a collegiate correspondent for USA Today College. Skelton freelances for USA Today and her work has appeared in the New York Times. She is a News21 fellow and has interned for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and three Nebraska newspapers. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, adventure sports and making gluten-free and dairy-free foods.
