Ann-Marie Alcántara was an editorial intern for Mashable. She is a recent graduate of Vassar College, where she studied environmental and urban studies. Her internships with The Nature Conservancy included contributing to pieces appearing in The New York Times, NBC Nightly News and Women's Health Magazine. Despite being a millennial, she does not take selfies.
