Duncan has been a gadget lover and technology journalist for more than a decade. Having initially reviewed films for DVD Review and cult movie mag Hotdog, he cut his AV teeth by reviewing the kit as well for Essential Home Cinema and the classic Widescreen TV Buyer. He then moved on to edit lads' gadget mag Boys Toys before diving headfirst into the freelance world writing for everyone from The Register to T3, Pocket-Lint and AV Review. He now spends most of his time balancing writing duties between technology, travel and working as a design and user experience copywriter building apps, web platforms and design service solutions. Duncan holds a degree in Media and English and seldom wears shoes.
