Fran Berkman

Fran was a U.S. & World reporter for Mashable. Previously, he worked as social media coordinator for Newsday.

After earning his B.S. from Cornell University in 2006, Fran eventually went on to study journalism, getting an M.A. from Hofstra University in 2012. He is also the primary songwriter, guitar player and co-lead singer in the band Unaware Wolf.

In his spare time, Fran plays board games and video games, watches sports and consumes Netflix (currently Battlestar Galactica) and writes down poems in a notebook, letting a maximum of five people read them.
