Minas Apelian

Minas Apelian is vice president, research and development, of Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed Corporation. In this role, Minas leads the design, development and execution of the next generation of the company's overall Research and Development (R&D) strategy by leveraging the robust R&D talent and capabilities across businesses and through a deeper collaboration with the broader Saint-Gobain and CertainTeed R&D communities. Minas joined Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed Corporation in 2013. Minas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia and both Master’s and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from MIT. Minas has authored numerous papers and is recorded as inventor or co-inventor on 17 patents.
