Sara Afzal

Sara Afzal is pursuing a master’s degree at New York University in Journalism and Middle Eastern Studies. She has been a freelance writer and photographer since 2010, when she earned a B.A. in Journalism at University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She has a strong interest in social media trends and Iranian culture and history.
