Tania Kasongo is the Marketing & Communications Assistant for Mashable, where she is responsible for assisting with various events-related initiatives. Tania received her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from The Ohio State University. During college Tania held different internships at WOSU, WBNS-TV, North American Broadcasting Company and Walt Disney World Resorts. After graduating, she worked within marketing at Mettler-Toledo International Inc.In her spare time Tania enjoys working out, cooking, trying new restaurants, volunteering and traveling. Tania was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire) and came to the US at 5 to Wooster, OH. Tania just moved to NYC from Columbus, OH in October of 2011.
