Video games, often played on consoles, PCs, or smartphones, can be large commercial products or small indie projects, and single-player games typically tell stories that can last from a few hours to over 100 hours. Multiplayer games, popular for both casual and professional play, can be cooperative or competitive and are sometimes broadcast online or on TV.
