Google

What is Google? Let me Google that for you. Google is a technology company that was founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. It was started as a search engine that ranked results based on the websites' relevance to the search query. Searching for something on Google became so ubiquitous that "google" is now listed as a verb in the dictionary. In addition to its search engine, Google products include, advertising through Google Ads, Gmail and Google drive cloud computing, and consumer products like the Google Pixel smartphone, Chromebook laptop, and Nest smart home system. Google, as well as other major tech companies like Facebook and Amazon have been criticized for violating antitrust laws and inhibiting business competition. Through its cloud services, search engine data, and consumer products, that all collect personal information, Google has also been the subject of privacy concerns. Today, Google is one of the biggest and most powerful tech companies in the world.
