X (formerly Twitter) has certainly grown a lot from the days when you would send tweets via SMS text messages about what you had for breakfast. Founded in 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams, Biz Stone, and Noah Glass, the microblogging service turned real-time social media newswire was acquired by Elon Musk in 2022 and renamed and rebranded X in 2023.
