Runners, hikers, snowboarders, traceurs and other such outdoor adventurers may have heard of JUMPER Threads. They're a performance-wear company founded by a former Army Ranger that focuses on comfy basics that function as activewear but still look good. After a successful Kickstarter campaign launching its luxury sweatpants, JUMPER is back with a lightweight, flexible jacket that boasts tons of nifty features.

The Action Jacket was designed for adventuring, featuring water repellent "ninja stretch" fabric and an adjustable hood to keep out rain, while the mesh venting and lightweight material keep you cool while you sweat. You'll stay dry even when moisture attacks from inside and out. There are reflective strips for night hikers and thumb loops if you're hanging on things and need to protect your hands. Plus, it folds up small enough to be easily stashed in a bag (or cargo pants pocket) and is as light as a banana. Seriously, they checked.

The Action Jacket's most useful feature, however, is the phone pocket/armband hybrid that will keep your phone tucked away and secure, but still accessible. If you're a runner you've probably gone through several generations of armbands that strap your phone to your arm. They're usually uncomfortable, with cheap fabric or plastic that sticks to your skin or that rides down while you're running. The Action Jacket solves both of those problems by integrating the armband into the jacket itself. Since it's a pocket, the phone can't drop down any farther down your arm and the band goes around the sleeve itself, rather than your skin.

The Action Jacket has currently achieved more than 400 percent of its funding goal with three weeks left in the campaign. Pledging $105 or more will earn you a jacket at the super early bird price. If you pledge a little more, you'll also receive the company's new performance socks that are designed to look like dress socks but are apparently much more supportive and comfortable.

Business owners and club leaders can also order in bulk — if you order 20 Action Jackets they'll print your logo on the front. But take note: the Action Jacket is a limited edition product. They're only planning on one production run so backing the Kickstarter is the only way you're guaranteed to snag one of your own.
