Look, we know that spring is an exciting time for everyone because the weather starts to get nicer. We get it. But let's not forgot about the other best part of spring: the sales.

And you're in luck if you have an affinity for gaming — PlayStation's annual Spring Sale is underway. The sale features up to 75% off of nearly 2,000 titles new and old until its conclusion on April 26. We know that's an intimidating number to parse through, so we took the liberty of scouring the entire sale and hand-selecting only the best deals from the massive event. Check out our picks below, or take a peek at the sale page for yourself (if you dare).

Best survival-horror game deal

Why we like it

The Last of Us Part I didn't necessarily need to happen, but we're happy it did. The original game is a critically acclaimed masterpiece — and is still arguably in great shape for how long ago it was released — but who are we to say "no" to a ground-up remake of one of the all-time greats specifically for the PlayStation 5? If you haven't already played The Last of Us and have been convinced to try it out following the hit HBO adaptation, this is unquestionably the best way to experience it for the first time.

Best open-world game deal

Why we like it

You're not going to find a more beautiful open-world game than Horizon Forbidden West at the moment. The sequel to 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn improves on its predecessor in every single way, with new environments, gameplay mechanics, upgraded performance and graphics, and a captivating story that continues the journey of Aloy as she explores the uncharted lands of the Forbidden West. It's absolutely brimming with content, too, including side quests, challenges, and hidden secrets for you to uncover. If you plan on getting that 100% completion trophy, Horizon Forbidden West should keep you busy for quite some time.
