TL;DR: Make crafting easier on the eyes with the Cricut BrightPad, on sale for $59.99 — a 25% discount — as of April 3.

If you constantly find yourself squinting at your artwork, you can make things easier for yourself with this light-up craft pad from Cricut.

Whether you're into tracing, weeding, quilting, needlepoint, knitting, or just about anything that you need a table to work on, this back-lit pad can help improve your artistic eye. By illuminating your work from the back rather than with an overhead light, you can reduce eye strain tremendously — and potentially eliminate distracting shadows.

The non-slip base on the back of the pad helps ensure it won't slide around if you're working on a table. And with three brightness settings, you can customize the amount of light to fit the project you're working on. About the size of a piece of paper, you can even throw it into a bag, suitcase, or briefcase.

Each Cricut LED board comes with the pad, USB cable, and a welcome booklet. While it normally retails for $79, you can slash 25% off for a limited time and take it home for only $59.99.
