TL;DR: As of April 9, you can get a refurbished MacBook Air 13.3" (2015), 4GB RAM 256GB for just $365.99. It would cost you $1,109 new, so you're getting 66% off the sticker price.

Buying a brand new laptop can definitely put a dent in your wallet — especially if you’re a Mac person. But we’re going to let you in on a little secret: buying refurbished can save you hundreds of dollars. For instance, a MacBook Air from 2015 that’s in great condition will cost you less than $400.

This certainly isn’t the latest and greatest machine available. We’re talking about a refurbished, 13.3-inch MacBook Air from 2015. There have been five models released since this one originally debuted. It’s not obsolete yet, though, so Apple’s hardware service is still available and third-party providers can still order parts for repairs if necessary. Plus, it’s been refurbished to work as if you just bought it off the shelf back in 2015.

There are two different configurations of the refurbished MacBook Air up for grabs. One is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space, while the other has more RAM, at 8GB, but less storage space, at 128GB. Both models are silver and come with a 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor, Intel HD Graphics 6000, two USB 3.0 ports, and an SD card slot. The LED-backlit, 13.3-inch widescreen display features a 1440x900 resolution and built-in FaceTime HD camera, which won’t be anything to write home about compared to the new models, but should still get the job done for quick video calls.

Take a look:

The refurbished MacBook Air with 4GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage is on sale for just $365.99, while the MacBook Air with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage is on sale for $388.99. That’s a pretty incredible price either way, considering these models originally sold for $1,109 and $1,249, respectively. Plus, you’ll also be doing the environment a solid by purchasing a pre-loved device.

Prices subject to change.
