Pre-order 'Assassin's Creed Origins' for 20% off with Amazon Prime
Super Mario Odyssey fever is overshadowing another highly anticipated video game release. Assassin's Creed Origins is also dropping Friday but you can get it for 20% off when you pre-order with your Amazon Prime membership. (If you don't have Prime yet you can sign up here for a free 30-day trial.) Heads up that the discount won't be applied until you check out.
The latest in the Assassin's Creed series centers around the fictional history of the Brotherhood of Assassins and is reportedly much more combat-heavy than the previous versions. It's now a fully-fledged action-RPG. Mashable's Adam Rosenberg got to try it out earlier this summer and was very excited that you can ride camels in this game. (He was also impressed with the game overall but really wanted to emphasize the rideable camels.)
Assassin's Creed Origins comes out Friday, so today is your last day to snag the pre-order deal. If you don't have a Switch yet and feel left out of the Mario mania, you can spend the weekend murdering your way through ancient Egypt instead.
