Save $12.94: As of Aug. 23, the Katchy indoor insect trap is on sale for $27.85, down from $40.79. That's a savings of 32%.

I love my plants, but I loathe the fungus gnats that hang around the soil. I've tried sticky traps, insect spray, mosquito bits, and apple cider vinegar traps, but nothing has worked to mitigate the problem quite like the Katchy bug catcher.

This little device uses a combination of UV light, a fan, and a glue board to attract and trap small flying insects like gnats, fruit flies, and mosquitoes. And as of Aug. 23, the Katchy indoor insect trap is on sale for $27.85, down from $40.79. There's also a version with two fan speeds on sale for $27.85, down from its original price of $49.99.

The bug catcher has a manual mode that runs constantly and an automatic mode that turns on when it gets dark in the room. The trap is most effective in the dark because the singular light source attracts bugs so the fan can suck them down to the glue trap.

It might take a few days to actually see results, but trust me when I say this thing works. I've swapped out the glue board a couple times since buying the Katchy and it's sickening how many little bugs have been on each one. I'd highly recommend this device to anyone with plants who's struggled with gnats.
