The Flux Capacitor from the Back to the Future films was the key component in Doc's time travel technology that allowed he and Marty to make their way across several different eras and alternate timelines. Now, ThinkGeek's turned it into a watch that tells you the time instead.

CARD ID: 289467, CARD TYPE: SideBySide

Instead of clock hands, this watch uses the fluxing bits of the Flux Capacitor design tell the time for you. Press the bottom button on the watch, and the 12 lights will start flashing with the time. If it were 3:12, for example, there will be three lights, then one light, then two lights. It's a bit time-consuming than just looking at your phone, but it's a fun way to geekify your menial activities.

The date is also displayed at the bottom using the same interface that the Delorean uses to track the era it's in. You can also play with "Time Travel" mode where the Flux Capacitor starts fluxing and the time and date will briefly randomize for that time-jumping aesthetic.

The Flux Capacitor watch costs $49.99, but you can currently get it for $29.99 — a 40% saving.
