This isn't the cheapest we've ever seen our beloved V12 Detect Slim, but it does beat the $549.99 sale price — or no sale price at all — that it's been stuck at for weeks. $499.99 has actually seemed like such a steal that the V12 Detect Slim is currently out of stock at Dyson's website, but you can still lock in at this price and get your Dyson shipped in the next week or so.
The Mashable Choice winner is the best Dyson for most people, and clocks in at 24% lighter than its bigger sibling, the V15 Detect. It has what is arguably Dyson's best feature ever — a green laser that highlights microscopic dust on a hard floor that you may have assumed was clean. For plush carpeting, a motorized cleaning head is also included.
