What is Black Friday?

Black Friday originally started off in the U.S. in the 1950s, where brick and mortar stores would host massive sales heading into the Thanksgiving weekend. It officially kicks off the holiday shopping season, and provides huge deals to the early birds. Over the past few years, Black Friday has grown in popularity worldwide, and in scale.

Here in Australia, deal events like this Lenovo Early Access Deals can start much earlier in the month! A recent addition to the shopping tradition is Cyber Monday, which caps off the deal period and was originally designed for online-only retailers.
