It feels like we say this every year, but 2023 really is popping off in the video game department. It's a lot to keep up with — and try to budget for, considering first-party titles start at $70 now (even at Nintendo). Fortunately, Amazon has a metric boatload of video games and gaming gear on sale for its annual Prime Day savings event on July 11 and 12.

We've narrowed its selection down to the best 100-ish deals below, sorted by platform and listed in ascending order by price. We'll keep updating and refining it throughout Prime Day, so check back often.

Note: All newly added deals are marked with a , while deals with a 🔥 have dropped to an all-time low price. Deals with a strikeout were either sold out or expired at the time of writing.

Nintendo Switch deals

Why we like it

One of our absolute favorite games of 2023 so far (and a leading GOTY contender), The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom expands upon 2017's Breath of the Wild with new abilities to master, enemies to clobber, and maps to explore. It's an absolute masterpiece, and this is one of its lowest prices to date. (It's gotten a couple cents cheaper before.)

PlayStation deals

Why we like it

The sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a frontrunner for 2023's Game of the Year, and is a fantastic evolution for the franchise and its many memorable characters. More exciting combat, exploration, and narrative twists and turns await you in Survivor, and for a limited time, you can save $26 on the recent release when you clip the on-page coupon at Amazon.

Xbox deals

Why we like it

In other "good gaming bundles" news, Amazon just put the brand new Xbox Series X 'Diablo IV' Bundle on sale for the first time. Ten bucks off isn't earth-shattering in the grand scheme of things, but this is still noteworthy for two reasons: The bundle launched less than a month ago, and the standalone Diablo IV game itself has yet to go on sale anywhere.

Cloud gaming Deals

Why we like it

The Logitech G Cloud is a Switch-style handheld hub for popular cloud gaming services like Xbox Cloud Streaming and Nvidia GeForce Now. It features a 7-inch, 1080p touchscreen display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a battery life of up to 12 hours per charge. It originally retailed for $299.99 during its preorder phase, and Amazon's revived that deal ahead of Prime Day.

PC gaming deals

Why we like it

Amazon Prime members can claim several free games in the weeks leading up to Prime Day (via Prime Gaming), the first one being Prey, a creepy cosmic FPS from 2017. It nabbed an 8/10 from Dan Stapleton over at IGN (which is owned by Mashable's publisher, Ziff Davis), who said the "curious alternate-history universe, intriguing sidequests, hidden threats, and detailed environmental storytelling" make up for its mediocre combat.
