The biggest thing that differentiates Roborock's S8+ model from the S8 is the fact that it has a self-emptying dock, which empties itself into a 2.5 L dust bag (holding up to seven weeks' worth of your dust). Other than that, the S8+ and S8 robot vacuums from Roborock feature the same suction power (6,000 Pa), 3D floor mapping technology, and 180-minute run time. Given that the S8+ currently retails for $200 more than its counterpart, you should ask yourself how much of a dealbreaker self-emptying is to you (and whether it's worth $200).
