The CrossHelmet on Kickstarter might as well be from Stark Industries
Somebody had better call the patent offices at Stark Industries and Wayne Enterprises, because the CrossHelmet would give give both companies a run for their money.
This smart motorcycle helmet boasts a technological overhaul for traditional motorcycle helmets, including things like group talk, music operations, a safety light, and more. The full face helmet itself is lightweight and spacious without being too loose, meaning that riders can breathe more easily when wearing it. But less cramped wearability is only the tip of the iceberg.
The CrossHelmet has a rearview camera that dramatically expands a rider's field of vision. The view comes up on a special transparent HUD on the helmet's visor. The HUD also displays GPS information and even what the weather will be like for your ride.
The helmet can also connect to your devices via Bluetooth, so you can make calls, ask Siri for directions, or even listen to music through your helmet. The helmet's CrossSound control on the companion app also allows you to control the level of background noise to tailor your own motorcycle experience. All Bluetooth functions are operated by the helmet's touch panel, so you never have to pull out your devices in the middle of a ride.
