October has marked Cyber Security Month across Europe and in the US. The event has drawn attention to the growing challenge of navigating the modern landscape of cyber security and online threats.

Cyber security is a big, important, and kind of tricky topic to get to grips with, but the main point of the last month has been to create awareness of the issue.

Another main takeaway from Cyber Security Month is that training is essential. Liam Butler, Area Vice President, SumTotal, a Skillsoft company, says:

"The real focus should be on providing dedicated training resources. IT and cyber security leaders need to look at training as a tool to help retain, attract, reward and re-skill staff. This reduces risk by helping employees stay on top of the changing IT security landscape, while helping them validate their skills and knowledge."

So training is vital to ensure you remain protected, and as usual, there's a course for that. You can now buy 'The Complete Cyber Security Course' for as little as £11.99, down from £119.99. That's a 90% saving.

The course will give you an advanced practical skill-set in how to stay anonymous online, how to maintain privacy, and how to bypass firewalls and proxies. Basically, you'll be a cyber security specialist in no time.
