When you were a kid, did your parents pretend a fork full of food was an airplane zooming towards your mouth? Well, that’s a cool game for picky babies, but you’re grown now—and it’s time to take things up a notch. For example, the Death Star Waffle Maker. Now, your fork can be an X-wing starfighter on an underdog mission to find the exhaust vent that leads to your tasty breakfast’s reactor core. (Alas, your waffle will not actually explode.)

This Star Wars-inspired waffle maker is an electric griddle with a nod to the Dark Side. All you need is an outlet to plug it into, the waffle batter of your choice, and a few minutes. It has an indicator light to let you know when it’s hot enough to cook and the two-sided, non-stick plates make a waffle that’s about seven inches in diameter. And, oh yeah, it looks like the Death Star. It’s usually $65.25, but right now, you can get one for $39.40. That saves you about 40 percent—or enough to invest in some stormtrooper pancakes.
