Save $30: Ring in December with endless hot cups of coffee and tea. The Ember Mug 2 is on sale for just $99.99 at Best Buy, for a 23% markdown of its usual list price as of Dec. 1.

It's December, which means three things: it's cold, it's gift-giving season, and you are hurtling toward the end of the year in a stressed out, overwhelmed blur while also trying to shop for thoughtful gifts for your loved ones.

While we many not have any advice for any passage-of-time-related panics (though we deeply, deeply empathize), we do have a great gift idea that's ideal for the colder months: the almighty Ember Mug 2. As of Dec. 1, you can grab the 14-ounce version of this temperature control smart mug for only $99.99 at Best Buy.

At the time of writing, you won't find that markdown elsewhere, including Amazon and Ember's website, where it's either sold out or going for the full $130 list price. You won't even find it on most of the colors at Best Buy — only the store's exclusive navy shade has seen its price slashed.

Now, we understand that for some, even this discounted price can seem a bit steep for a heated mug. But the Ember mug doesn't just keep your beverage hot — it keeps it at the exact temperature you prefer between 120 and 145 degrees. The LED light and a notification from the Ember app will let you know when your drink is at your optimal sipping temperature, and the mug will hold this temp for up to 80 minutes with its battery, or all day if you keep it resting on its charging coaster.

Is it a little fancy? 100% yes. But would it be a mug that almost anyone who works from home probably appreciate? We don't have the exact numbers, but we're willing to bet probably a very high percentage yes again. Check it out at Best Buy while it's on sale for a limited time only.
