The Apple Watch Series 7 just hit its lowest price yet
SAVE $50: If you didn't grab an Apple Watch Series 7 when it went on sale for $379 over Cyber Weekend, your patience has paid off. The 41mm, GPS-only variant just hit $349 at Amazon and Walmart — that's a 13% savings and its lowest price yet.
Amazon and Walmart aren't playing by the rules this holiday season, apparently.
Both retailers shocked us last week when they knocked the new Apple AirPods 3 to a mere $139.99, which was $10 better than their Black Friday price. Now, they're doing the same thing with Tim Cook's latest wearable: As of Dec. 13, you could head to either store to snag a 41mm Apple Watch Series 7 with GPS (no cellular connectivity) for only $349.
By our calculations, that's an unprecedented $50 off its usual retail price of $399 and $30 better than its Cyber Weekend deal, when several variants hovered around $380. Patience is a virtue, yada yada yada.
Released in October, the Series 7 builds upon last year's wellness-oriented Series 6 model with improved workout support for biking, faster charging, and some nice cosmetic upgrades — including a bigger, curvier face, larger buttons, a full keyboard for typing, and several new colors. You can choose from starlight, midnight, green, and updated versions of Apple's blue and PRODUCT(RED).
Mashable's tech team hasn't gotten a chance to review it yet, but according to the experts over at PCMag (which is owned by our publisher, Ziff Davis), it's "Apple's most attractive and durable wearable yet."
FWIW, we're actually sort of surprised to see this thing in stock, much less on sale and with reasonable shipping times. (Amazon and Walmart were both promising free pre-Christmas delivery at the time of writing.) The Apple Watch Series 7 is one of many popular tech products that are being affected by supply chain shortages this year, which have left us with an obnoxious amount of backorder and "out of stock" notices lately.
Suffice it to say: Hop on this deal before it inevitably disappears.
