SAVE $30: The Bose Sport Open Earbuds are the latest Mashable's Choice Award winners, and they just hit their lowest price ever at Amazon, Best Buy, and Bose.com. Grab a pair in Triple Black for just $169, or 15% off their $199 MSRP.

Cyber Weekend 2021 was the time to find unprecedented deals on earbuds from big-name brands. Some $89 Apple AirPods? Check. Fifty bucks off the Beats Studio Buds on top of a $10 Amazon.com credit? Absolutely. A $20 markdown on the Google Pixel Buds A-Series, which also happened to come with three months of YouTube Premium for free? Darn tootin'.

This spring's Bose Sport Open Earbuds were an outlier in that they didn't go on sale for Black Friday or Cyber Monday, which was especially odd given the fact that virtually every other Bose product enjoyed some sort of discount at some point. (Even the newer Bose QuietComfort Earbuds were $80 off.) But we got over it fast: As of Dec. 8, Amazon, Best Buy, and the Bose website itself all have them on sale for the all-time-low price of $169 — that's $30 off their $199 MSRP.

ICYMI, the Sport Opens are the newest winners of our coveted Mashable's Choice Award with a 4.75/5-star overall rating. Senior editor Chris Taylor went so far as to call them "the best headphones for exercise and so much more" in his review, praising their "stellar" sound quality and their unique "open-ear" design; they actually sit right above your ear canals and play tunes into them from tiny speakers. This gives them several huge advantages over your average in-ear buds (such as AirPods):

  • They don't block airflow, allowing your ear canals to breathe while preventing wax buildup and bacterial infections.

  • They let you hear some of your surroundings without making you futz with an ambient audio mode.

  • They don't require a tight, potentially uncomfortable fit.

  • And for all you fashionistas out there, they "look more like cool black ear jewelry than headphones," said Taylor.

For anyone with a runner or a track star on their shopping list this holiday season, you'll be happy to hear that the Sport Opens will arrive in time for Christmas no matter where you buy them. But for "sooner rather than later" delivery, go with Best Buy or Bose.com: Both retailers are offering free one- and two-day shipping (respectively) at the time of writing, while Amazon's delivery times were four to seven days out even with Prime.
