The streaming service usually costs $7.99 a month and doesn't offer a free trial, so if you've never checked it out before, now's your chance to do so for cheap.
This is just one of the many company-wide promotions and events the Walt Disney Co. is putting on for Disney+ Day, which officially falls on Friday, Nov. 12. Here's what else is on the docket:
Disney+ subscribers will get early access to the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort 30 minutes before everyone else on Nov. 12.
Members will also enjoy free shipping on all shopDisney.com orders from Nov. 12 to 14.
From Nov. 7 to 12, all fans will have the opportunity to purchase some exclusive digital golden statues inspired by characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and The Simpsons as part of its new NFT collab with VeVe. 🙃
Disney+ products will be 10% off on Funko.com from Nov. 12 to 14 with the promo code DISNEYPLUSDAY.
That same code will take 5% off Disney products and get you a free Marvel gift with any WizKids purchase through Nov. 14.
A handful of ebooks from Disney Publishing Worldwide are on sale for just 99 cents through Nov. 17.
Select Target stores will be hosting in-store activations from Nov. 12 to 14 where you can take advantage of the $2 Disney+ Day offer and score surprise giveaways.
Select AMC Theaters will be showing daily surprise screenings of fan-favorite movies for $5 a pop from Nov. 12 to 14; click here to find a location near you.
What's more, "additional new and beloved fan-favorite content" will be arriving to Disney+ on Nov. 12 — that includes Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings (plus a docu-special about its development), the charming new Dwayne Johnson flick Jungle Cruise, and a brand new episode of Marvel Studios Legends that's all about Hawkeye.
