SAVE $45: As of July 5, you can get the Echo Show 5 (3rd gen, 2023 release) for $44.99, down from $89.99, at Amazon. That's a discount of 50%.

With Amazon Prime Day just around the corner, deals are popping up left and right. You can find affordable prices on a wide range of smart home products and more, most recently including the all-new Echo Show 5 (3rd gen). This compact smart display is seeing its very first discount since its release, with 50% off its original price.

As of July 5, you can score an Echo Show 5 (3rd gen, 2023 release) for just $44.99, down from $89.99, at Amazon. That's a savings of $45, and this new product's first discount ever. Now, there is a tiny catch — this deal is only available for Prime members. That said, if you're not already a Prime member, signing up for a free trial to take advantage of this deal is super easy. Amazon only requires that you've not had a Prime membership within the last 12 months.

So, what makes the Echo Show 5 (3rd gen) so special? In addition to this rad discount, it's packed with features that'll enhance your smart home experience and make your day-to-day a little bit easier. This model has improved audio for clearer vocals and deeper bass, an additional mic so Alexa can actually hear what you're saying, and a faster processor. It's also more compact than previous versions and includes an infinity edge cover glass for a sleek and modern look.

It comes in three colors, and you can purchase it with an adjustable stand for $73.98 (save $43).
