There is a massive elephant in the room concerning the latest deal on Disney+, and it's best that we just address it before there is any confusion.
You can save over 20% on a monthly and yearly subscriptions to Disney+ and Star, but this is a saving compared to the price for new subscribers from Feb. 23. So this deal is actually just locking in the original pricing for the next 12 months. So sneaky, Disney.
The reason for this price increase is the addition of Star. Disney+ is adding a wider range of general entertainment films and series to its catalog from Feb. 23. At this point, the price of a monthly subscription will increase to £7.99 per month and an annual subscription will move to £79.90 per year for new subscribers. If you beat this deadline, you can subscribe for £5.99 per month or 59.99 per year.
Don't panic if you're already subscribed, because the price for existing monthly and annual members won't increase until the subscriber’s first bill date after Aug. 22. You've still got a bit of time to assess your options.
Subscribe to Disney+ before Feb. 23 to lock in the best deal.
